"Le départ" is a small personal school project in which you are a father in search of his son's whereabouts after a few weeks without news.

The objective here was to create a Narrative Level Design with minimal gameplay. The environment itself must tell a story, or give information. It's basically a walking simulator. All of it was made by myself, from the visuals to the small coding (minus the music) in 78 hours.

I was heavily inspired by Life is Strange for the mood and the art direction.

Everything was made in Unreal Engine.

N.B.: The game is in French... And to quit you need to do ALT+F4 (yeah, sorry).
